Sunday, October 4, 2026 at 01:36 PM
The art museum in Dnipro reportedly sustained damage twice from attacks by the Russian army, first in September 2025 and again in April 2026. Following the latter strike, all windows were blown out and the roof was significantly damaged, according to Serhiy Nesmachny, deputy director for scientific work.
The museum is currently open to visitors and exhibiting artworks while undergoing repairs, including the installation of new windows. The restoration process is being managed in phases to allow the museum to continue operating, with one hall closed at a time for window installation while other areas remain open for exhibitions.
