Austria is expelling four Russian diplomats suspected of espionage, the Foreign Ministry told profil. The ministry later confirmed this to APA. Three of the diplomats worked at the Russian mission in Vienna, and another was part of the Russian delegation to the OSCE.

Earlier, Austria's Ministry of Defense had warned military personnel about possible contact with individuals suspected of ties to Russian intelligence services. Russia stated it would retaliate for the expulsion.
