Russian security forces conducted a search at the apartment of Sergey Sokolov, the editor-in-chief of Novaya Gazeta, according to the pro-security channel Baza. The search is reportedly related to a case involving Novaya Gazeta journalist Oleg Roldugin, who is accused of illegal use and storage of personal data.

Baza claims that investigators suspect Roldugin may have acted with or on the instructions of Sokolov. Roldugin is currently under house arrest and partially admitted guilt, stating he was unaware of the bot's illegality. Novaya Gazeta has not yet commented on the searches.
