A 65-year-old fisherman in Primorye survived a bear attack with severe injuries. The incident occurred on September 27 when the man went fishing with his puppy in the Chuguevsky district. A she-bear attacked him, knocking him down and inflicting bites and scratches to his face, arm, and thigh.

The fisherman's puppy alerted him to the approaching bear, allowing him to turn around just as the animal lunged. Despite the severe wounds, the man was able to reach home independently and is now receiving medical attention.
