A Telegram post from journalist Zhenya Zobnina reports that bears have been increasingly aggressive across Russia since summer. In early October, a bear killed a man in the Irkutsk region. In Podtyosovo, near Krasnoyarsk, a bear killed two women in one day. Recently, a bear killed a man in the Arkhangelsk region.

The post notes that these incidents are occurring nationwide, from the Novgorod region to Kamchatka. Zobnina states that the report will investigate the reasons for the increase in bear population and potential blame placed on authorities.
