Belarus reportedly reactivates signal repeaters aiding Russian drone incursions into Ukrai

Wednesday, September 16, 2026 at 12:06 PM

Belarus has reportedly reactivated signal repeaters that assist Russian drones in penetrating Ukrainian territory, according to a spokesperson for the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine (DPSU). The spokesperson noted that Belarus had previously deactivated these repeaters following a warning from the Ukrainian president regarding support for Russia. An attack targeting the Yahodyn border crossing was also reportedly supported by Belarus.

The DPSU spokesperson stated that Belarus had previously switched off these active repeaters, which amplify the signal, after receiving a warning from the Ukrainian president about the unacceptability of such actions in support of Russia.
