Bloomberg: Russia's September losses in Ukraine exceed 50,000 soldiers
Monday, October 12, 2026 at 09:50 AM
A Telegram post citing Bloomberg reported that Russia's losses in the war against Ukraine in September exceeded 50,000 soldiers, with 28,000 of them killed. NATO estimates Ukraine's losses during the same period were ten times smaller, around 5,000 troops.
Despite these losses, the Russian military command is attempting to advance on the front lines, sending soldiers into so-called "death zones." Earlier in the summer, NATO estimated that since the beginning of the full-scale war, Russia had lost over 1.4 million soldiers killed and wounded.
