A dual citizen of Canada and Russia has been sentenced to seven years in prison for treason, according to Russia's Federal Security Service (FSB). The FSB stated that the individual prepared analytical projects for foreign organizations and developed a plan to create an "educational" website aimed at inciting ethnic discord within Russia.

The FSB also claimed that the individual, identified as Zyuzev, received over €2 million from Europe for a project targeting Russia's sovereignty and territorial integrity.
