A CNN source told the outlet that Ukraine's air defense systems were unable to intercept most ballistic missiles during a recent Russian attack due to a shortage of interceptor munitions. "Almost all ballistic missiles during the last strike were not intercepted due to a lack of interceptor missiles," the source said.

Russian ballistic missiles struck three power plants in Kyiv and targeted energy infrastructure in Kharkiv during the recent attack, according to the source.
