The commander of the Azov Regiment, Prokopenko, stated that Russia plans to create a buffer zone in the Sumy and Chernihiv regions by mobilizing 600,000 people by the end of the year. He also noted that Ukrainian defenders are facing three Russian armies with a force ratio of approximately 1 to 6 in favor of the enemy.

Prokopenko described the situation on the Dobropillya front as difficult, but stated that the enemy failed its summer offensive and could not capture Dobropillya by the end of summer. He also claimed that despite a numerical advantage, Russian forces are suffering colossal losses, with over 120-130 Russian soldiers eliminated daily in that direction. He anticipates that worsening weather will force the occupiers to shift tactics from small infantry groups to mechanized breakthroughs with heavy armored vehicles.
