An appellate court upheld a life sentence for Russian soldier Serhiy Tuzhilov, also known by the call sign "Altai," for his involvement in the killing of three Ukrainian defenders at the Vovchansk Aggregate Plant. The defense sought a reduced sentence, but the court rejected the appeal.

Additionally, prosecutors from the Kharkiv region and SBU investigators have заочно (in absentia) notified a Russian commander and four of his subordinates, believed to be involved in these killings, of suspicion. The source of this information is the Kharkiv Regional Prosecutor's Office.
