Denmark expects Russia to intensify hybrid attacks in the coming months, according to a new threat assessment by Danish intelligence (FE). FE believes Russia will conduct more frequent attacks against the West and NATO, which will have more serious consequences for the affected countries than before.

These could include, for example, destructive cyberattacks with serious consequences for critical infrastructure and sabotage attacks with a high risk of casualties. The FE report also noted a small but growing risk that Russia could launch a limited military attack against one or more NATO countries bordering Russia.
