Egypt's Foreign Minister stated that Egypt is prepared to provide any military assistance Saudi Arabia requests, affirming unconditional support. The minister added that the situation in Bab el-Mandeb is negatively impacting Suez Canal revenues.

The Egyptian minister's remarks come amid ongoing tensions with the Houthis, which have disrupted shipping in the Bab el-Mandeb strait. This disruption has direct implications for the Suez Canal, a vital global trade route and a significant source of revenue for Egypt.
