An Egyptian citizen died following an attack on a ship in a Russian port. The victim was the captain of the vessel M/V Noran, which was attacked on September 13 in a port in southwestern Russia. The Egyptian Ministry of Foreign Affairs reported the captain's death.

Previously, Turkey filed a complaint with the International Criminal Court regarding an attack by Ukraine on the Turkish vessel Reyhan Sarı, which resulted in the death of one of the sailors.
