A Telegram channel reported that Russia is preparing new drone attacks targeting European countries in the Mediterranean region. According to El Mundo, U.S. intelligence has received information about potential Russian plans to attack Spain, France, and Italy and has shared this with the governments of these countries.

The report suggests that drones could be launched directly from the sea, from containers on board merchant vessels. The warning was reportedly received by European governments shortly after CIA Director John Ratcliffe's visit to Moscow on August 25, which The Wall Street Journal previously suggested was related to potential Russian strikes in Europe.
