EU ambassadors have approved adding another 1,646 individuals and entities to the bloc's 22nd package of anti-Russian sanctions, which is set to be formally adopted on Monday, according to Reuters. European diplomats claim most of these entries are linked to Russia's military-industrial complex.
Reuters also noted that Ukraine's air defense systems are reportedly insufficient to intercept Russian ballistic missiles, with U.S.-made interceptor missile stocks nearly depleted as the United States redirects resources to the Persian Gulf.
