Europe criticizes Trump's pro-Russian stance, Starlink use restricted in Ukraine
Thursday, October 15, 2026 at 12:47 PM
European Union leaders criticized U.S. President Donald Trump's recent pro-Russian actions, including a deal to buy Russian diesel and calls to replace Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky. Ukraine's military use of Starlink was restricted days later without warning.
The U.S. may have also limited intelligence sharing, potentially increasing the risk to Ukrainian civilians from Russian aerial attacks. The comments were made at an Oct. 15 summit in Brussels.
