A former producer for "112 Ukraine" will face trial for state treason and collaboration after allegedly cooperating with Russian authorities in occupied Zaporizhzhia Oblast, obtaining Russian citizenship, and joining the creation of occupation authorities. He reportedly became a "deputy" in the illegal "Legislative Assembly of Zaporizhzhia Oblast" in 2023 and later headed one of its "committees."

The investigation also suggests his activities supported Russian armed groups, Russian information expansion, and weakened Ukraine's defense capabilities. He is accused of state treason under martial law and voluntarily holding a position in an illegal authority on occupied territory, according to the Institute of Mass Information. Separately, Zubrytsky is also being tried for crimes during the Revolution of Dignity, including alleged involvement in the abduction and torture of Ihor Lutsenko and Yuriy Verbytsky, the murder of Verbytsky, and organizing the murder of journalist Viacheslav Veremiy. He is currently hiding in occupied territory and Russia, leading to a posthumous investigation and international wanted notice.
