A former deputy head of Roszheldor's transport security department, Pavel Titov, who was sentenced to 14 years in prison for accepting a large bribe, has died while performing combat missions in the special military operation zone. This information emerged during an appeal hearing at the Ryazan Regional Court.

Titov's defense attorneys and close relatives requested the termination of his criminal case due to his death, stating he was posthumously awarded the state medal "For Courage" and had received a departmental award from the Russian Ministry of Defense during his lifetime.
