Hundreds of dogs reportedly died across Russia after being administered the "Multikan-8" vaccine, which was allegedly sold with a fake quality passport. The counterfeit document from the manufacturer "Vetbiokhim" was reportedly found in an electronic data system when the vaccine reached veterinary clinics.
The batch number 20 was removed from circulation. A criminal case has been initiated based on the findings of a Moscow prosecutor's investigation. Owners of the dogs claim that after the vaccination, their pets experienced bloody vomiting, internal burning from high fever, and dehydration with diarrhea, leading to the deaths of many pets.
