Case filings indicate that cases against Khokhrin, Mukhin, and Fakhrutdinov were initiated by December 17, 2025, Zykova's by May 5, 2026, and Skulkin's by June 22, according to the Rosfinmonitoring registry. In April 2026, the FSB reported detaining five Russians born between 1994 and 2010 in connection with arson attacks on energy facilities and transport, with investigative actions taking place in the Kirov region, as noted by Mediazona. The FSB stated the individuals were recruited via Telegram channels offering "quick earnings."
