Former Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council (NSDC) Volodymyr Horbulin confirmed to Suspilne that he was at work during a Russian strike on the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine (NASU) building and sustained a minor injury. According to him, his assistant, who was near the building, was killed.

Horbulin, who previously served as Secretary of the NSDC, was reportedly present at the NASU building during the attack. His assistant was killed in the vicinity of the building.
