Russia's Federal Security Service (FSB) has detained two Russian citizens in the Perm and Belgorod regions. The FSB stated that the individuals were gathering information on military-industrial and fuel and energy complex facilities with the intent to carry out terrorist attacks.

The FSB reported that the detained individuals were collecting intelligence related to the defense industry and the energy sector, allegedly for the purpose of planning and executing terrorist acts.
