Russia's Federal Security Service (FSB) reported the detention of a German national who had signed a contract with Ukraine's armed forces (VSU) and subsequently deserted without receiving payment. The FSB stated that the individual had previously participated in combat operations in Afghanistan, Syria, and Somalia.
