German Chancellor Friedrich Merz has arrived in Ukraine for a visit, accompanied by Minister of Economics Katerina Reiche and 10 heads of companies from the defense and energy sectors. According to government sources, Merz intends to make promises regarding further financial and military support for Ukraine.

The visit aims to include pledges for the supply of thousands of interceptor drones and the acceleration of long-range weapons production.
