German investigators believe Russian military intelligence (GRU) organized an attempted arson attack near the offices of defense companies Rohde & Schwarz and Helsing in Munich, reports Frankfurter Allgemeine Zeitung (FAZ). Unknown individuals threw incendiary devices at a construction site on the night of September 3, leading to the arrest of two Bulgarian citizens.

According to FAZ, the GRU may have simultaneously been preparing to set fire to the plant of Ukrainian drone manufacturer Skyeton in Slovakia.
