The IAEA team was informed of a drone attack that occurred at night, with drones hitting a laboratory and utility building and a radioactive waste processing building. The facilities are located in the station's protected area, approximately 200 meters from power units No. 4 and No. 5.

The IAEA team requested access for an independent assessment of the consequences, but only received it more than 48 hours later. During the inspection, specialists found broken glass, damaged windows, and a section of damaged road surface. Drone components and debris were also found at the scene.
