Police and forensic investigators from the Judea and Samaria district, secured by IDF forces, are entering the area to collect findings, evidence, and testimonies for an ongoing investigation.

A preliminary investigation indicated that no forces were present at the location during the attack. The report was sent to the brigade's operational control center, which is designated for security personnel reports only, not civilians. The center receives numerous operational reports daily and responds only to authorized, non-civilian entities. Other hotlines are available for civilian complaints. The entire incident will be examined.
