The IDF reportedly attempted to assassinate Hamas official Al-Aamoudi in Gaza on Tuesday morning, detonating a bomb in his apartment. Reports indicate there were casualties at the scene, but Al-Aamoudi's fate remains unconfirmed.

Al-Aamoudi is reportedly the successor to Sinwar. While initial reports suggest fatalities, official confirmation is pending.
