The Israeli military reported that two unarmed suspects approached an Israeli military position in southern Syria on a motorcycle this afternoon. Soldiers opened fire during a suspect arrest procedure, detaining both individuals and taking them to Israel for questioning. One suspect was wounded and received hospital treatment.

In a separate incident last night, an unarmed suspect attempted to breach a different army post in southern Syria. An IDF reservist reportedly shot and killed the suspect when he continued to try and enter the post. No soldiers were injured in either incident.
