A Hamas leader in Gaza, Ali al-A'amoudi, who is considered the successor to Sinwar, was reportedly wounded in an IDF strike two weeks ago in Gaza. A senior Hamas official told Saudi newspaper Asharq Al-Awsat that al-A'amoudi was present at the location but in a peripheral area and survived the attack.

The report suggests that the individual targeted in the strike, believed to be a successor to Sinwar, was present but escaped unharmed.
