Iranian airlines have suspended flights to Azerbaijan due to a new package of U.S. sanctions, according to Azerbaijan Airlines. Previously, U.S. Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent stated that Iranian airlines would have to cease international flights as Washington's sanctions threaten Tehran's foreign partners.

The sanctions are reportedly aimed at pressuring Iran's international partners to cease operations with Iranian companies.
