Iranian authorities announced the execution of Hossein Pedaran, who was convicted of spying for the Mossad intelligence agency, according to Tasnim. Officials stated that Pedaran provided information on the locations of military and missile bases.

Authorities also reported that encrypted devices and hidden recording equipment were found at Pedaran's residence.
