Israeli Defense Minister Yoav Gallant threatened Hezbollah, stating that if the group joins an Iranian attack on Israel, it will be dealt a severe blow. Gallant also said the IDF is prepared to advance into further areas in the Nabatieh and Litani regions.

According to Gallant, any territory captured would be evacuated of its residents and permanently become part of Israel's security zone in Lebanon.
