Kyiv City Council deputies reportedly attempted to block military funding increase amid Ru

Friday, October 2, 2026 at 04:52 PM

A portion of Kyiv City Council deputies reportedly attempted to disrupt a vote to increase military support by 1.5 billion UAH. While the majority of deputies voted in favor of the increase, some present at the meeting refused to vote for the support of the Defense Forces and tried to derail the consideration of the issue.

The post criticizes these deputies, stating that while the enemy attacks the capital with missiles and drones, they are focused on their own interests. It questions their motives for blocking the funding for the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) during the fifth year of the war and amidst intensified shelling and escalation on the front lines.
