Monday, October 19, 2026 at 02:24 PM

Kyiv Mayor Vitaliy Klitschko announced that metro service between "Lisova" and "Akademmistechko" stations is set to resume this evening. However, trains will not stop at the "Chernihivska" station, which is undergoing repairs after being damaged by Russians. Repairs on "Chernihivska" station include tracks, the contact rail, power supply, and traffic control systems.

The repairs at "Chernihivska" station are described as the most complex, according to Klitschko. The metro line was previously damaged by Russian forces.
