Lithuania has issued two notes of protest to a representative of the Russian embassy. The first note addressed an act of sabotage on August 15 in Tallinn, where a building belonging to the Estonian defense company Milrem Robotics was intentionally set on fire. Estonian authorities believe the Russian state is responsible for the attack, according to the Lithuanian Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

The Lithuanian Foreign Ministry stated that the country, along with its allies, will "respond decisively" to Russia's attacks and other actions that violate international law, including sabotage and cyberattacks.
