Lithuanian President Gitanas Nauseda stated at the UN General Assembly that Russia's personnel losses over the past 55 months amount to 1.5 million. In the last year, Russia captured 0.3% of Ukraine's territory at the cost of over 400,000 killed and wounded soldiers.

"Despite all these colossal efforts, all this blood and tears, they have essentially been in vain. Ukraine still proudly stands as an independent state. The Ukrainian language, culture, and national identity are alive and thriving," Nauseda concluded.
