Man arrested in Russia for alleged murder and dismemberment of girlfriend and her daughter
A 47-year-old man, identified as Teymuraz, has been arrested in Russia's Voronezh region on suspicion of murdering his girlfriend, Elena Tsereteli, and her daughter. The alleged motive was a dispute over the purchase of an expensive car.
According to reports, Teymuraz took Elena's daughter from a tennis training session and drove her to his garage. An argument ensued over a Mercedes, leading Teymuraz to allegedly shoot the daughter in the head. He then hid her body in the garage, disposed of her phone, and later confessed to Elena. After her hysterical reaction, he reportedly shot her as well, dismembered both bodies, and attempted to process parts of them in a meat grinder. Relatives raised the alarm on October 3rd after being unable to contact Elena. Teymuraz, who obtained Russian citizenship in 2022, was apprehended while attempting to flee.
