A 65-year-old man, Viktor Yerko, who died in Kyiv's Solomianskyi district during shelling on September 24, lived alone and sought shelter during attacks, according to his daughter, Anna Venediktova. She stated that his heart could not withstand the stress, and he was unable to be saved.

His daughter, Anna Venediktova, told hromadske that Yerko lived alone and always went to an underground shelter during shelling, but it did not save him. She mentioned he had two children and two grandchildren.
