Joint search groups from the border agencies of Moldova and Ukraine investigated the border area. No traces of an explosion or debris were found on Moldovan territory. The Ukrainian side confirmed that the impact site and unidentified fragments are located on Ukrainian territory, approximately 1.2 km from the state border.

The Border Police continue to monitor the situation.
