Moldova is constructing defensive structures against drones at border crossings with Ukraine, according to the head of Moldova's Ministry of Internal Affairs. These structures are intended to provide a safe evacuation point for border police, civil servants, and citizens present at the crossing in case of need.

Additionally, the withdrawal of Moldovan customs officers from joint customs control territory with Ukraine to solely Moldovan territory is being discussed. This has already been implemented at the "Dzhurzhuleshty-Reni," "Briceny-Rossoshany," and "Kriva-Mamalyga" checkpoints.
