Moldova's Ambassador Lilian Darii has returned to Moscow after being recalled for consultations, according to Parliament Speaker Igor Grosu. Grosu stated that Moldova has the right to recall its ambassador during tense situations, and that the diplomat is currently at his post.

The ambassador was recalled following the fall and explosion of a drone near the village of Crocmaz in the Ștefan Vodă district.
