NATO Military Committee Meets in Ukraine for First Time in Eight Years
The NATO Military Committee convened in Ukraine on October 6 for the first time in eight years, with military representatives from all 32 Alliance nations arriving in Kyiv. The delegation, led by NATO Military Committee Chairman Admiral Giuseppe Cavo Dragone, began their visit by laying flowers at the Wall of Remembrance for those who died defending Ukraine, located near St. Michael's Golden-Domed Monastery.
During the meeting, NATO representatives discussed Ukraine's military priorities and modern warfare experience with the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Mykhailo Zabrodskyi. The NATO Military Committee Chairman emphasized the high level of solidarity from international partners with Ukraine. The Armed Forces of Ukraine expressed gratitude for the support and respect shown to Ukrainian soldiers.
