A Flydubai pilot reportedly stabbed the co-pilot and attempted to crash the aircraft while approaching Israel, according to Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu. An Israeli passenger and a crew member subdued the attacker, and another crew member stabilized the plane.

The suspect pilot was detained and is being interrogated in Saudi Arabia. Israeli Defense Minister Naftali Bennett called the incident an attempted terrorist attack.
