A plane carrying 180 passengers from Dubai to Tel Aviv landed in Tabuk, Saudi Arabia, after transmitting a signal indicating a possible hijacking attempt or interference with the crew, The Times of Israel reported. The aircraft briefly disappeared from flight tracking websites.

According to security sources, Israeli Air Force fighter jets were scrambled to escort the plane. Israeli security sources stated that the crew issued an emergency signal not due to a hijacking attempt, but because of a scuffle between two pilots.
