Poland plans to install over 1,000 automatic warning sirens along its border with Ukraine, according to Polska Agencja Prasowa. The head of Poland's Interior Ministry, Kервиньский, stated that the Lublin Voivodeship aims to enhance its warning system by the end of the year, increasing the number of sirens from approximately 350 to over 1,000.

This decision comes in response to increased aerial attacks on border crossings using jet drones and missiles. The Lublin Voivodeship has also prepared around 3,500 shelters for civilians. Polish authorities believe there is "very little time" left to improve public readiness.
