A Flydubai flight from Dubai to Tel Aviv reportedly experienced an attempted hijacking by its co-pilot, who wounded the captain. Passengers, identified as Russian and Ukrainian nationals and pilots themselves, intervened and took control of the aircraft, landing it safely in Ben Gurion Airport, according to the Jerusalem Post.

The incident occurred on flight FZ1073. The Jerusalem Post reported that the passengers were able to storm the cockpit and take control of the plane.
