Hebrew-language media reports suggest Israel has been aiding Saudi Arabia's efforts against the Ansarallah-led government in Yemen. Israeli media has hosted pundits and cited security officials expressing paranoia over the Yemeni Armed Forces' territorial gains.

The Ansarallah Party, based in Sana'a, reportedly began firing missiles and drones at Israeli targets and imposed a Red Sea blockade on the Port of Eilat. Previously, Tel Aviv did not consider Yemen a significant regional threat, viewing Hamas, Hezbollah, and Iran's IRGC as greater security challenges.
