The IDF prepared for several days of fighting with Iran approximately a week and a half ago, targeting civilian infrastructure in the Islamic Republic, such as power stations, nuclear facilities, and other regime targets, according to a Financial Times report. The plan, reportedly pushed by Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, was ultimately blocked due to President Trump's opposition to renewing hostilities before the midterm elections.
